Microneedling helps to address the signs of aging as the natural structure of our skin deteriorates over time creating fine lines, wrinkles, large pores, and uneven skin texture. Microneedling also helps improve scarring from acne, surgical sites, injuries, and stretchmarks.
Microneedling created controlled micro-injury to the skin surface with fine needles that activate your body's healing cascade and natural wound healing ability. Microneedling works at a cellular level inducing skin remodeling, collagen production, increased elastin, and smoother skin tone.
Wound repair consists of three main phases, inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling:
Skin Pen by Bellus Medical
Skin Pen Cartridge
Hydrogel
Topical numbing agent
4x4 gauze
Skin texture changes will be seen in 0-3 days. The initial overall response of the controlled trauma from Microneedling takes 90 days for your body to reap the rewards, but instead of pushing results out 9 months for any one project, we like to layer sessions every 4-6 weeks so the layered results are more obvious to you and it shortens the time frame needed to see improvements. Results vary by patient.
Mild to Moderate
Measure to decrease discomfort will be taken to include topical numbing.

Microneedling alone is a very useful and efficient tool to cause controlled trauma to tissue that needs to be encouraged to repair, regenerate, to improve its appearance and texture. However, you can maximize results by adding in the extra powers of Platelet Rich Plasma, also known as PRP.
What Does It Help?
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is a low risk option used to help with acne scaring, facial volume loss, darkness under the eyes, and to increase collagen to improve fine lines and wrinkles. PRP is also used to assist with hair loss.
What Does PRP Do?
PRP is a natural substance produced by your own body that is isolated and re-injected to improve volume loss, less scar tissue depth, and increase collagen production. PRP is also injected in the scalp to stimulate the hair follicles to aid in hair re-growth. PRP has different growth factors to activate you own nature healing cascade and use your body’s own resources to smooth and tighten your skin.
PRP can be injected in the same areas are dermal filler without risk of too much volume. This is a great skin care treatment for those who are not searching for immediate results and who want to use their body's own natural resources.
How Does It Work?
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) injections use the plasma obtain from your own blood. Simple venipuncture is performed and the blood is placed in a centrifuge to separate the red and white blood cells from the platelets. PRP is a higher concentration of your own platelets in your own plasma.
PRP is rich in growth factor to include platelet derived growth factor (PDGF), insulin like growth factor (IGF), vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), platelet derived angiogenic factor (PDAF), transforming growth factor beta (TGF-b), epidermal growth factor (EGF), and Fibroblast growth factor (FGF). Platelets are components at help to clot blood and release these helpful growth factors to stimulate repair, increase collagen framework, and improve the extracellular matrix.
Two Options:
You can use it topically and need it into the skin with the Skin Pen Microneedling cartridge, but you can also get more tubes of your blood pulled and have plenty to not just use topically, but also to inject into areas of scar tissue, areas that are experiencing volume and fat loss, underneath the eyes, etc... into the same treatment.
You can add Microneedling for $100-$250 Per Session to our Platelets Rich Plasma and or PRP Injections To Amplify Your Results
