About Progress MD

Dr. Meenakshi Dieguez is Progress MD's Medical Director and Supervising Physician per TMB Rule 193.17 regarding any facility that offers non-surgical cosmetic procedures in the state of Texas.

Dr. Meenakshi Dieguez has a very important role at Progress MD being trained in the procedures we provide at our facility,  delegating to our Providers, formulating and creating protocols that we follow for non-surgical cosmetic procedures under TMB Rule 193.17, signing off on charts, and using her independent knowledge and skills to ensure efficacy and safety at Progress MD.

“I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. I received my MD Degree at St. George’s University School of Medicine, Grenada West Indies in 2007. After completing my residency from 2007-2010 at Somerset Medical Center in NJ I began my career in Urgent Care and eventually moved to Amarillo, TX to work at BSA Urgent Care. 

I am a wife and mother to four children, two boys and two girls. I love to read classic novels and travel with my family!"

I started Progress in September 2014. We have only continued to grow and add providers and Medical and Day Spa services since then. I was initially inspired to get my own 1.5 sq ft of tattoos removed from my own body. I guess you could say I fell in love with lasers after that. I have done all my training with the Texas Laser Institute. Lasers are such incredible tools and the things we can accomplish with them just blow my mind. I also have a Professional Laser Hair Removal License with the state and am one of a few with my level of state certification in Amarillo for hair removal. In June of 2019 I also started the very first non-profit association for those in Texas Med Spas across the state - Texas Med Spa Association - fighting for those who have invested heavily into non-surgical aesthetics across Texas as facilities and providers under the TMB Rule 193.17 and I serve my role as a Secretary.

 As a licensed Esthetician since 2011, I bring over a decade of experience helping clients achieve healthier, more radiant skin. My background in both esthetics and beauty business management allows me to deliver results driven care with a strong focus on client education and long term skin health.   

I joined the clinic in 2022, and since then I’ve been dedicated to helping clients feel more confident through personalized, results-driven skincare and advanced aesthetic treatments.

My passion lies in corrective skincare and creating customized treatment plans that are tailored to each client’s skin, concerns, lifestyle, and goals.

 I specialize in treatments such as advanced facials, chemical peels, microneedling, and acne and pigmentation correction, with a strong focus on achieving healthy, long-term results rather than quick fixes.

I believe education is one of the most important parts of aesthetics. My goal is to help clients understand their skin, feel comfortable asking questions, and feel confident in both their treatments and home care routines. 

One of the things I value most is building genuine relationships with my clients and creating an experience that feels both elevated and approachable. I want every person who walks through our doors to feel comfortable, cared for, and supported throughout their skincare journey.

Nurse Practitioner

"My name is Kevin Fleming and I joined the Progress MD family in December of 2017. I am a Family Nurse Practitioner, certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at West Texas A&M in December 2009. I continued my education by obtaining a Master of Science in Nursing at West Texas A&M in May of 2017. I have grown so much with this team and I am so happy I am here having the opportunity to take care of patients here at Progress MD."

Nurse Practitioner

I joined the Progress MD team in March 2025, bringing a strong background in Emergency Medicine. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from West Texas A&M University and went on to complete my Master of Science in Nursing at Texas Woman's University. My Passion for patient care now extends to aesthetics,  where I'm dedicated to helping clients achieve their skincare goals. 

Outside of work, you'll often find me in the gym, spending time with family and friends or traveling the world with our beloved fur baby, Oaklee. I'm excited to be a part of your skincare journey and look forward to helping you look and feel your best!

I have been a part of the Progress MD team since 2021, and my passion has always been helping others feel confident, comfortable, and empowered in their own skin. As a bilingual laser technician, being able to connect with clients in both English and Spanish allows me to create a welcome and comfortable experience where every client feels understood, cared for, and genuinely supported throughout their journey.

I believe aesthetic treatments are about more than appearance, they're about helping people feel like the best version of themselves. Building trust and meaningful relationships with my clients is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and making the most of every moment together. I am also a proud wife and mom of two beautiful daughters, and much of my free time is happily spend supporting them in all of their activities and hobbies.
